How to Step away from an Unrequited Love..!!

“To burn with desire and keep quiet about it is the greatest punishment we can bring on ourselves.”
― Federico GarcĂa Lorca, Blood Wedding and Yerma

There is beauty in love. An unrequited love has a beauty that no one can ever know other than the person who holds it.  They preserve it. painting it with the most soothing colors they have. Some day the beauty you feel , the grateful feeling you holds so dear to you will turn into pain. Sometimes this happens sooner than you think. The 24 hours seem so painful. From that moment, you need to turn away because the beautiful masterpiece you drew on the canvas has started to haunt you. But you should stop now. Your noble act deserves much more than a heartbreaking pain.

The most difficult part is to gather the courage.

1.Find an Option.

If you loved someone so much without expecting nothing back, believe me you would love something else in the same manner. This something shouldn't always has to be a person. It can be a hobby, a new hobby you haven't even thought about. That's how I found my passion about pencil art. You can also do the same thing. Art, music, ballet, an instrument also a great option. This is called maneuvering a painful heart into a creative mind.
If you need a living breathing option and a Homo sapiens is not available; you can have a Canis familiaris: a puppy. and also a kitty. I'm a dog person. So puppy always comes first in my lists. :)

2.Start a journal.

Even though you don't see this as a tip. It's helpful. Other than reliving your situation, you can write down it. Your writing skills will improve and your pain will fade. Psychiatrists say that the writing and burning it, will help the healing process. But to this day I haven't burnt anything. Journals help me to reread and evaluate the old version of me. But I don't suggest this for everyone because rereading can be painful and more heartbreaking at some points.

3.Talk to your BFF.

Friends always take our side. So sometimes it's good to talk to them. It's up to you.

4.Try to ignore the whole incident.

This is the hardest of all, but worth the effort. Pretend like you don’t know that person. This can help to reduce your awkward panic situations.

The whole world is waiting for you. So try not to waste your time on one person.. :)
