If you want to know why fans are crying for the loss of a celebrity who lives 1000 miles away and probably never get to see.

In the light of Jonghyun's sudden passing away, I was dumbstruck as every fan around the world and a little bit more since I recently started loving K-pop, SHINee the group and specially Jonghyun. Our celebrity idols we love, we almost treat them as our close neighbors in our hearts, though it never can become true.

When I was watching a movie as a kid , I remember talking with my dad about how actors & actresses put a tremendous amount of effort just to remember the lines, specifically when it comes to a song that they've never heard. Dad told me because it is their job and they do it again and again to make something remarkable. So they will stay in the hearts of the viewers and to keep the critics on their toes.
Now when I think about it I think that's because they chose entertaining people as their career and they are trying to do their best not to leave the hearts of their fans and to add one more fan to the list.

Art just as any other profession is built upon the idea of making the hectic human life a little better. Whenever I'm going through a tough time my default mode is to turn in to a k-drama or k-pop because it is the ideal fairy world. Despite of the hardships the boy bands go through to earn their status and ratings, they display their best effort by bringing out the best song and the best dance with the best choreography just to make us feel better at least for several minutes.
Nevertheless, those soap-opera kind k-dramas they have that ideal prince charming, a third-generation chaebol and a common girl who turns into a complete beauty after a makeover. That's call escapism and k-dramas provide the best of all. I remember as a newbie to watching k-dramas I struggled just to memorize the characters and the names of the actors because they all looked same to me at first. Then I would replay a scene again and again to remember the faces and names.
That’s how I struggled to find Jonghyun in their music videos. He looks different in each and every one of them. In one he is blonde, next with brown hair, then again with a completely new style. After finding him and his unique voice I instantly became his fan. In every music video my eyes could find him.

After yesterday’s news, my dad found me crying and asked “what are you going to do now.” I replied “what else. I’ll write something, something beautiful.” Even though this post may sound desperate, It will speak out for the fans all over the world, even hundreds and thousands of miles away. This effortlessly became a longer post than I expected and I didn’t use past tense to describe Jonghyun.

Just as everyone else who decided to quit selfishly, he will remain in the hearts of everyone whom they were will be loved as ones who tried to fight.
It’d have been even more wonderful if he could win the battle. But despite that I would honour him as a singer who went through hardships to earn the place in the industry. Furthermore as the commercial industry insists we’ll look forward until the fellow members of the band creates a beautiful song to commemorate their brother..

To end with a beautiful Instagram caption (credits to the original owner) ..
"The person we all loved felt unloved. I feel worthless. The star who brightened the music stages is now a real star in the sky.  May be God has given him a second chance."
